Mark Kayser

Mark Kayser is Professor of Applied Methods and Comparative Politics at the Hertie School, Berlin. He was previously an assistant professor of political science at the University of Rochester, a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford and a fellow at the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. He is the co-author of a book on the effect of electoral systems on regulation and price levels (Cambridge University Press, 2011) and the author or co-author of articles in several leading journals. His interests include policy-making, elections, accountability and economic effects on political behavior.

Jochen Rehmert

Jochen Rehmert is a postdoctoral researcher in comparative politics at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. His research focus is on candidate selection in political parties, coalition politics and formation, legislative politics and committees and Japanese politics. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany, and a BA and a MA in Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin.
